Shielded boxes are widely used for testing wireless terminals. However, there were problems such as not being able to see the screen display of the DUT placed inside the box, and the cumbersome test operation of opening and closing the box to operate the DUT.
Shielded bags using honeycomb-shaped electromagnetic wave blocking mesh "MG Net" allow the DUT's screen to be visually observed from the outside, and the keys on the terminal device can also be operated.
A single layer of MG Net blocks electromagnetic waves at over 20 dB, a double layer at over 35 dB, a triple layer at over 40 dB, and a quadruple layer at over 50 dB, allowing the shielding performance to be adjusted depending on the application.

※If the shielding performance is too high, the effects of reflection and resonance may become greater, which may increase electromagnetic interference to the test object or other equipment. The EM shielding bag provides an optimal environment for EMC countermeasures.

Example of using a shielding bag and acrylic case when pairing devices

When kitting multiple devices such as PCs, iPads, and smartphones at the same time, you may end up in a situation where you pick up all Bluetooth devices in the same space that are preparing for pairing and are unable to distinguish between them. In that case, if you put each device in an EM shielding bag, it will be difficult to communicate with devices other than those in the shielding bag, so you can distinguish between devices in the shielding bag and other devices even if they have the same device name. In addition, the honeycomb mesh MGnet can be seen and operated from the outside, so you can operate it from above the bag during kitting work.

Adopted as a countermeasure against pulse bombs for satellite phone terminals

The high altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) generated by a pulse bomb generates an electric field strength of approximately 50 kV/m (DC several 10 MHz), which induces high-voltage currents in electronic equipment, including information and communication devices on the ground, as well as power and communication lines. It is expected that if an electric field strength of 10 kV/m or more is irradiated even for a moment, it will destroy electronic equipment and electronic systems.

EM shielding bags are single-layered and have the ability to attenuate electric field strength to 1/50 or less, making them effective as a countermeasure against pulse bombs for electronic equipment. Metal allergy is a condition in which the skin reacts to metals and chloride ions contained in sweat, causing a rash. Silver is a safe metal that is extremely unlikely to cause allergic reactions. How to use

Make sure the area is well ventilated, check the direction of the nozzle, hold the can 20-30cm away, shake the can vigorously about 10 times, and spray thinly and evenly over the entire surface. You can use the same method for up to 4 layers, but it is more efficient to spray in layers. After spraying, leave the can to dry indoors for about 1-2 hours.

Spray time: 1 can can spray for 270-300 seconds

Frequency of use

For shielding bags and sheets that are touched daily, spray once every three months. For tents and shielding boxes that are not touched, spray after the first year and then use once within the next two years; the product's performance will hardly deteriorate even after five years or more.
