In recent years, with the development of wireless communication technology, there are many electromagnetic waves in the air. Even if you try to measure EMI during the development stage of equipment, it is not simple in places with poor electromagnetic environments. It is often the case that the measurement results are actually external noise.
The EMC box reduces the effects of external noise and enables simple EMI measurement. It is also effective in reducing electromagnetic interference between devices.

※No deterioration even after repeated folding - ■The mesh is 1mm or larger (opening rate of 80% or more), so it has good light collection, ventilation, and heat dissipation properties, and is see-through so that the test object can be visually observed.
- ■The shielding performance of the material is in the range of 32 to 60 dB, so there is little effect of internal reflection or resonance.
- ■Uses silver fibers, so it is less likely to cause metal allergies like nickel-plated fabric.
【Shielding properties】
The EMC box uses a fabric (MG net) made of silver-coated nylon fiber. The shielding performance (KEC method: 100kHz to 60GHz 32 to 60dB) can be changed by layering the mesh material (2 to 4 layers).
EMCboxのEconomy Typeuses MG sheet (copper nickel coating) on part of the shielding material (side, back, bottom), and the ventilation and heat dissipation are about 30% lower than the standard specification, but the shielding performance is the same. Also, the number of times it can be folded in tent style is limited to 50 times.

Radio Law Measures「Regulations for low power radio stations」
If the electric field strength (radio wave strength) at a distance of 3 meters from the wireless equipment is lower than the specified level (500uV/m for frequencies less than 322MHz and 150GHz or higher, 35uV/m for frequencies between 322MHz and 10GHz, and 35uV/m to 500uV/m for frequencies between 10GHz and 150GHz), then a wireless station license is not required.

If the electric field strength emitted from a device is 10V/m at a distance of 1cm, the electric field strength at a distance of 3m is inversely proportional to the distance and can be calculated as follows:
E3m = E1cm /(3m/0.01m)
E1cm = 10V/m
The ratio of the distances is3m/0.01m = 300
E3m = 10V/m / 300 = 0.033 V/m
If the electric field strength is 10 V/m at 1 cm, the electric field strength at a position 3 m away will be 0.033 V/m. To attenuate the electric field strength of 0.033 V/m to 500 μV/m, a shielding performance of 36.4 decibels (dB) or more is required, and to attenuate it to 35 uV/m, a shielding performance of 59.5 decibels (dB) or more is required. EMC simple rooms that meet these requirements have a triple or six-layer shielding mesh (MGnet).
If the shielding performance of the shielded room currently in use does not meet the above regulations, you can make it meet the regulations by installing an EMCbox inside.(Example: If the performance of the shielded room is 45dB, and the performance of the EMCbox is 45dB, a total shielding performance of 90dB can be obtained.)
In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Notification No. 173 specifies the performance and specifications of shielded rooms.

Metal allergy is a condition in which the skin reacts to metals and chloride ions contained in sweat, causing a rash. Silver is a safe metal that is extremely unlikely to cause allergic reactions. Most common electromagnetic shielding materials use inexpensive metal plating such as nickel. Nickel dissolves more easily than other metals when it comes into direct contact with the skin, and if you sweat, it dissolves even more easily due to the action of chloride ions in sweat, so care must be taken.
Our "MGnet" products are designed with safety and intended use in mind, and are coated with silver to minimize the risk of metal allergies. Also, unlike general products that have electromagnetic shielding material coated on the fabric, "MGnet" products are silver coated at the fiber level, making them resistant to abrasion and peeling of the coating material and durable.

How to use
Make sure the spray nozzle is facing in a well-ventilated area, hold the can 20-30cm away, shake the can 10 times, and spray thinly and evenly over the entire surface. The same method is fine for up to 4-piece sprays, but it is more efficient to spray in layers. Allow to dry indoors for 1-2 hours after spraying.
Spray time: 1 can can spray for 270-300 seconds
The spray time varies depending on the area as follows:
