The pure silver filter used in the Ag+ Mask Antibacterial Sheet (patented) is a special honeycomb-shaped silver material. The surface area of the silver is about twice the area of the material (63 cm2), and it instantly reacts with the droplets (water droplets) contained in the breath, generating silver ion (Ag+) droplets inside the mask, which disinfect and deodorize viruses, bacteria, and odorous substances inside the mask, nasal cavity, and oral cavity, and also suppresses allergens such as pollen, and tears and runny nose caused by allyl sulfide irritation caused by cutting onions.

About the pure silver filter of Ag+ mask disinfectant sheet
The pure silver filter uses "MG Net," a pure silver material made by bundling several nylon fibers coated with pure silver (99.9% purity) into a thread and twisting it into a coarse honeycomb mesh.
- ○The surface area of the silver is approximately twice the area of the filter (63 cm2).
- ○ Silver reacts with exhaled droplets, generating silver ion droplets inside the mask.
- ○ The silver ion droplets sterilize the air inside the mask, around the mask, and in the nasal and oral cavities, killing viruses and bacteria.

How to use Ag+ mask disinfectant sheet
- ・Wash the sheets with dishwashing detergent after every few uses.
- ・Place the sheet inside the mask while it is still wet and secure it with tape.

MG Net Various Tests
１．"MG Net" antibacterial test
Antibacterial tests were conducted at Kaken Test Center Co., Ltd. to see how MG Net inhibits bacterial activity. According to the SEK standard (Textile Product New Function Evaluation Council standard), a bacteriostatic activity value of 2.2 or more is considered to be good for antibacterial properties, but it was confirmed that MG Net's bacteriostatic activity value against various bacteria was 2.9 to 6.1 or more. It was also found that the antibacterial properties hardly decreased even after 50 washes.
２．"MG Net" silver ion elution test
We asked the Osaka Institute of Industrial Technology's Polymer Functional Materials Research Department to investigate how the silver ion concentration would change when 5g of the pure silver filter "MG Net" was added to 1 liter of ultrapure water and sodium hypochlorite solution (a solution simulating tap water), and they confirmed that the silver ion concentration exceeded 100ppb in one minute. A silver ion concentration of over 10ppb is said to have an antibacterial effect, so a sufficient antibacterial effect can be expected.
３．The Safety of Silver
Silver was used in ancient times for tableware and chopsticks, and in modern times it is used as a urinary disinfectant, nasal agent, eye drops, etc. When taken orally, it is used as an intestinal disinfectant, and silver colloid is used intravenously as an anti-infective drug. In normal clinical practice, there is little evidence of toxicity, and it is not considered to be carcinogenic. Silver is also designated as a food additive, and there is no problem when taken orally.
