The『EMCtent』can be folded, carried, and stored. In addition, the mesh has an opening rate of over 80%, so lighting and air conditioning are not required. It complies with the Fire Prevention Law and can be installed in exhibition halls and tenant buildings.
We can also produce extra-large sizes that can be used by drones, and installation can be completed in just 1-2 hours.
Repeated folding of a normal shielding tent will cause the metal parts to peel off or break, causing the performance to deteriorate.The repeatedly foldable shielding tent is not sold anywhere else but by EMCtent, and has been adopted by numerous government ministries and agencies, major telecommunications companies, game development companies, and others. The economy type of EMCtent uses MG sheet (conductive cloth/copper nickel coating) for part of the shielding material (side, back, and bottom), and compared to MGnet, the air permeability and heat dissipation are about 30% lower, but the shielding performance is the same. However,Folds are limited to 50 times.

Measures to combat the Radio Law: "Provisions for Weak Radio Stations"
If the electric field strength (radio wave strength) at a distance of 3 meters from the wireless equipment is lower than the specified level (500uV/m for frequencies less than 322MHz and 150GHz or higher, 35uV/m for frequencies between 322MHz and 10GHz, and 35uV/m to 500uV/m for frequencies between 10GHz and 150GHz), then a wireless station license is not required.

If the electric field strength emitted from a device is 10V/m at a distance of 1cm, the electric field strength at a distance of 3m is inversely proportional to the distance and can be calculated as follows:
E3m = E1cm /(3m/0.01m)
E1cm = 10V/m
The ratio of distances is 3m/0.01m = 300
E3m = 10V/m / 300 = 0.033 V/m
If the electric field strength is 10 V/m at 1 cm, the electric field strength at a distance of 3 m will be 0.033 V/m. To attenuate the electric field strength of 0.033 V/m to 500 μV/m, a shielding performance of 36.4 decibels (dB) or more is required, and to attenuate it to 35 uV/m, a shielding performance of 59.5 decibels (dB) or more is required. EMC simple rooms that meet these requirements have a triple or six-layer shielding mesh (MGnet).
If the EMCtent's shielding performance is triple (45dB) and does not meet the above regulations, it is possible to meet the regulations by installing an EMCbox inside. (For example, if the EMCtent's performance is 45dB, and the EMCbox's performance is 45dB, a total shielding performance of 90dB can be obtained.)
In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Notification No. 173 specifies the performance and specifications of shielded rooms.
Based on the regulations of Article 6, Paragraph 1, Item 1 of the Radio Construction Regulations (Regulations of the Radio Control Commission, No. 14 of 1950), the test facilities to be notified separately by the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications are as follows: Radio anechoic chambers and other test facilities for conducting research and development on radio waves or tests on conformity with technical standards prescribed in the law and related documents, which are housed in metal shielding and are used at the operating frequency of radio equipment used inside the facilities.It is clear that the electric field strength of leaked radio waves is attenuated by 40 decibels or more.

Effective against electromagnetic pulses (EMP) and solar flares
Electromagnetic pulses generated by electromagnetic pulse (EMP) bombs and high-power microwave weapons generate an electric field strength of approximately 50 kV/m (DC several 10 MHz). The electric field strength that reaches the ground depends on the distance from the EMP source, and the higher the explosion height, the wider the area that can be affected. The electric field strength that reaches the ground decreases with distance as follows:
●In short distances (within a few kilometers), it is several kV/m or more.
●For medium distances (several tens of kilometers), it ranges from several hundred V/m to several kV/m.
●Over long distances (several hundred kilometers or more), electromagnetic waves of tens to hundreds of V/m can reach.
Electromagnetic waves induce high-voltage currents in electronic devices, including information and communication devices, and in power and communication lines. It is predicted that even momentary exposure to an electric field strength of 10 kV/m or more will destroy electronic devices and systems.
IEC 61000-4-3 electromagnetic compatibility testing for commercial electronic equipment requires that they can withstand electric field strengths of approximately 10 V/m. In reality, however, the operation of many electronic devices can be affected by electric field strengths of several hundred V/m to 1 kV/m, generating noise and increasing the likelihood of data errors and communication errors.
To protect various electronic devices such as data center servers, daily life infrastructure (electricity, gas, water, etc.), and communications infrastructure, a shielding performance of 60dB or more is required to attenuate the maximum 10kV/m (DC several 10MHz) generated by a close-range explosion to below 10V/m.
Typically, a 10cm thick reinforced concrete building has a shielding effect of 20 to 30 dB.EMCtent triple layer (shielding performance 45dB) installedThis results in a total shielding performance of 65 to 80 dB, reducing the electric field strength to approximately 1/1800 to 1/10,000, and making it possible to attenuate a 10 kV/m electric field strength to 5.6 V/m or less.
Furthermore, with this level of shielding performance, it is also effective against data leaks caused by Tempest attacks.
Infrastructure facilities such as power and communications companies, defense and disaster prevention agencies, and data centers have been requested by the Cabinet Office to consider measures to protect important electronic equipment and facilities from EMP destruction. In the event of a pulse bomb or solar flare risk, important electronic equipment and facilities can be stored in the EMCtent to avoid destruction. With training, the assembly time can be completed within 10 minutes, so it can be folded up and stored normally.
Assembly Method
The EMCtent is easy to assemble. It can be set up by two people in less than 30 minutes (10 minutes once you get used to it). When disassembled, it is very compact and can be sent by courier.
First, assemble the bottom pipes and then assemble from the back.
Assembly is easy as you just need to connect the pipes with joints.
The joints are screw-type, so they can be quickly disassembled.
The cable insertion ports are also securely protected by a shield cover.
No light source or air conditioning is required and it can be set up anywhere in less than 30 minutes.
It can be stored in the included carrying bag and sent via courier.
The cords are pulled through the insertion sleeve and sealed in two places with stoppers and cable ties.※Be sure to seal both places
A connector box that prevents noise from entering through cables can be installed as an option, and the type of connector can be selected.

Metal allergy is a condition in which the skin reacts to metals and chloride ions contained in sweat, causing a rash. Silver is a safe metal that is extremely unlikely to cause allergic reactions. Most common electromagnetic shielding materials use inexpensive metal plating such as nickel. Nickel dissolves more easily than other metals when it comes into direct contact with the skin, and if you sweat, it dissolves even more easily due to the action of chloride ions in sweat, so care must be taken.
Our "MGnet" products are designed with safety and intended use in mind, and are coated with silver to minimize the risk of metal allergies. Also, unlike general products that have electromagnetic shielding material coated on the fabric, "MGnet" products are silver coated at the fiber level, making them resistant to abrasion and peeling of the coating material and durable.

Regarding Firefighting Method Compliance
We received an inquiry asking if the "EMCtent" violates the firefighting method, and so we checked with the fire departments in charge of the local governments of Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture, where our head office is located, as well as Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Soka City, Saitama Prefecture, and Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.
- 1)The mesh material used in EMCtent (MGnet) is a special coarse mesh made of silver-coated nylon with mesh openings of 1 mm or more.(Opening rate 80% or more※)Due to its structure, it has high breathability and permeability, allowing water from the sprinklers on the ceiling to reach the inside of the tent sufficiently.
- 2)Since it is not fixed to the floor, wall, or ceiling of the installation location, it can be moved in the event of a fire, making it easy to secure an evacuation route.
- 3)The inside of the EMCtent can be seen from the outside, so even in the event of a fire, the situation inside the EMCtent can be checked.
- 4)It can be set up when in use, and then folded up and stored in a dedicated storage case after use.
After explaining the above points, the aforementioned fire department confirmed that the ceiling opening rate is over 80% ※and that it is possible to store it away, so it "does not violate the fire prevention method." Depending on the fire department in charge, there is a possibility that a different opinion will be issued, so if you contact us, we will check with the relevant fire department.

The price is for the shield tent itself. If you would like us to assemble and install it for you, the installation fee will be 150,000 yen or more. The following options will be quoted separately.

Method
Make sure the area is well ventilated, check the direction of the nozzle, hold the spray can 20-30cm away, shake the can 10 times, and spray thinly and evenly over the entire surface. You can use the same method for up to 4 layers, so it is more efficient to spray multiple layers. After spraying, let it dry indoors for about 1-2 hours.
Spray time: 1 can can spray for 270-300 seconds
The spray time varies depending on the area as follows.

How to use
