EMSpanelQ&A

QWhat is the difference between EMSpanel and EMSsheet?

AEMSpanel is made by laminating aluminum sheets and magnetic sheets, and then laminating them on both sides with insulating sheets. It is scratch-resistant and highly durable, making it suitable for use in electromagnetic protection suits and shielding boxes.
On the other hand, the "EMS sheet" is conductive and has an adhesive coating that makes it easy to attach, making it suitable for use on structures such as walls, ceilings, and floors.

QI think magnetic materials are prone to oxidation, but is this a problem with durability?

ASince the magnetic material is sandwiched between films, it does not come into direct contact with air and will not oxidize in this state. However, if it cracks due to repeated bending, air will get in and it will oxidize, causing its performance to decrease. If it cracks, it must be repaired immediately using masking tape to prevent it from coming into contact with air.

QCan I bend the panels?

AIt's okay to bend it up to about 90 degrees. However, please be careful not to bend it repeatedly as it may crack or tear.

QWhat should I pay attention to when attaching panels to the wall?

AFor EMSpanels, butt the panels together so that they do not overlap, and seal them with conductive tape (aluminum tape, etc.). If high-frequency shielding is not required, masking tape is also fine. When the panels are butted together, a magnetic field flows through the magnetic material, so stable shielding performance can be obtained.

QWhat does EMS stand for?

AEM stands for Electro-Magnetic field, and S stands for Shield.

QIs this product fire resistant, fire weak, or flammable?

AMetal materials have high heat resistance, so there is no problem. The film is also made of polycarbonate, so there is no problem if it is used for building materials or interior materials.
