Human Exposure Protection Test Data
The MG Military Suit was subjected to radiated emission testing and its human exposure protection performance was evaluated using the following procedure. The electromagnetic wave shielding material "MG Net" used in the MG Military Suit is double-layered (shielding performance 32-40dB), and reduces the electric field strength almost uniformly inside the human body.※If the shielding performance is too high (60dB or more), the effects of reflection and resonance will become greater, amplifying electromagnetic waves inside the human body and causing hot spots.
- 1 The bilog antenna that irradiates electromagnetic waves was placed 0.45 m vertically in the center of the back of the human body phantom and 0.9 m horizontally to the right, irradiating horizontally and vertically polarized waves.
- 2 Receiving probes were placed on the head and chest of the human body phantom, and the electric field strength was measured in the frequency range of 270 MHz to 925 MHz.
- 3 Receiving probes were placed on the head and chest of the human-body phantom, and the electric field strength was measured in the frequency range of 270 MHz to 925 MHz while the phantom was wearing an "MG military suit."
- 4 The above measurement results confirmed the electromagnetic protective performance of the "MG Military Suit."
MG Military Suit Radiated Emissions Test
Date and Time | March 19, 2020 10:00~17:00 |
---|---|
place | Osaka Prefectural Technology Research Institute: Radio Wave Anechoic Chamber |
the purpose | The electromagnetic field strength in space and the electromagnetic field strength inside a body-shaped phantom when the "MG Military Suit" was worn by a body-shaped phantom were measured and compared to evaluate the performance of the "MG Military Suit." |
