MG Apron Q&A

QCan the MG Apron be worn as electromagnetic wave protection clothing when going out?

AThe "MG Apron" protects against electromagnetic waves coming from the front, such as from induction cookers and mobile phones (pacemakers, ICDs, etc. are not affected from behind). When you go out, it is impossible to predict what type of electromagnetic waves will come from what direction, so the "MG Apron" does not provide sufficient protection against electromagnetic waves. The "MG Vest" has high electromagnetic wave protection performance and can handle electromagnetic waves from multiple directions, so please use the "MG Vest" when you go out.

QCan I protect myself from electromagnetic waves by wearing only the apron without the EMS pads?

AThe apron alone does not provide any protection. The EMS pads provide protection. When using the apron, be sure to place the EMS pads in your breast pocket.

QCan I choose the size?

AFree size. If the size does not fit you, we will make the clothes to fit you.

QHow can I do laundry?

AAfter removing the EMS pad from the apron, you can wash only the apron as normal. Wash the EMS pad with a mild dishwashing detergent, wipe off the moisture thoroughly, and dry in the shade.

QDoes MG Apron qualify for nursing care insurance, subsidies, or grants?

A

■We do not accept nursing care insurance.

■The subsidy for purchasing pacemakers and ICDs will be 20,000 yen for patients living in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, Minato and Sumida Wards in Tokyo, and Nanbu Town, Aomori Prefecture. This subsidy is not currently available in other municipalities or countries.

■Subsidies for use in the workplace will cover up to two-thirds of the purchase price from the Japan Organization for Employment of the Elderly, Persons with Disabilities and Job Seekers. For more information, please check the conditions and request documents.
