Electromagnetic wave protection standards

The "MG Vest" protection standards are explained with illustrations. *Click the blue bar to display.

Items for which prevention of impact has been confirmed

It has been confirmed that no effects are caused when the vest itself and the EMS pad are worn.

For the devices listed below, electromagnetic protection clothing also provides electromagnetic protection against ICDs.

Protection is possible if you follow the instructions

If you follow the precautions for handling the vest and EMS pads, you will be protected.

※Electromagnetic wave protective clothing also provides electromagnetic wave protection against ICDs, but performance verification is currently underway.

How anti-theft devices work (causes of improper operation of pacemakers, ICDs, etc.)

× What cannot be protected

This is something that MG Vest cannot protect against.

1.Electric shock

It cannot protect against electrical products that leak electricity (power tools, refrigerators, microwave ovens, washing machines, televisions, video games, computers). It is necessary to ground the product to prevent leakage of electricity. (Even electric shocks that are not felt by the body can cause pacemakers, ICDs, etc. to malfunction.) It cannot protect against electric shocks from other devices that pass electric current through the body (body fat measuring devices, low-frequency therapy devices, electrotherapy devices).

2.Magnets

Magnets(There is no problem with large magnets (magnetic bedding mats, pillows, magnetic accessories, etc.) as long as they are not pressed directly against the pacemaker, ICD, etc.

Regarding examinations and treatment at the hospital

Please remove the MG Vest when undergoing examinations or treatment at a hospital. In that case, be sure to tell the doctor that you are wearing a pacemaker or ICD, etc., and follow the doctor's instructions for the examination or treatment.
